Activity Overview

The Ryuuou Army Raid Operation is a time-limited multiplayer quest where players team up to defeat the Ryuuou Army boss and manage waves of adds. The raid has two distinct difficulty modes.

Challenge is gated behind the Lv.40 requirement. If you are below that threshold, run Casual to learn the add spawn order and boss attack timing before pushing for the higher difficulty.

Boss Profile

The Ryuuou Army boss has clear elemental weaknesses and a set of dangerous mechanics that shape team composition and positioning.

Fire damage dealers get the largest damage bonus and should be the core of your damage plan. Lightning and Light are viable alternatives if your fire options are underleveled.

Recommended Formation

Three formation options cover different account states and weapon availability.

Option A: Fire Magic Focus

This setup maximizes fire damage against the boss super weakness. Multiple Ryuuou Staffs scale well in coordinated groups where everyone runs fire magic.

Option B: Balanced Support

This is the safer choice for pickup groups or accounts without multiple copies of the same weapon. Princess Staff keeps the team alive while the two carries cover different weaknesses.

Option C: Budget / Early Account

Run this on Casual difficulty until your levels and weapons improve. Focus on learning add priority and boss attack patterns rather than forcing Challenge with underleveled gear.

Formation Key Points

• Bring at least one reliable healer. The charm disable and barrier floor create sustained pressure that self-healing cannot cover alone.
• Roto Shield is uniquely valuable here because it completely nullifies the barrier floor damage. If you own it, equip it.
• Ryuuou gear provides charm resistance, which reduces the downtime from the purple smoke charm attack.

Strategy Points

Five mechanics determine success or failure in this raid. Handle them in this priority order.

1. Jinmenju (Highest Priority)

Jinmenju drains the special gauge for all players. If it lives, your team cannot use special skills. Target it immediately on spawn, before the boss or any other add.

2. Heal Slime

Heal Slime restores boss HP rapidly. A single Heal Slime can undo minutes of damage. Kill it as soon as it appears, second only to Jinmenju.

3. Skeleton Knight

Skeleton Knight performs continuous attacks that pressure the team. Interrupt it with a special skill, or burn it down quickly after Jinmenju and Heal Slime are dead. Do not let it attack freely while handling higher-priority adds.

4. Orange Gauge (Instant-Death Attack)

An orange gauge appears under the boss HP bar. When it fills, the boss unleashes an instant-death attack. Deplete the gauge quickly to stun the boss and open a safe damage window. This is a team-wide DPS check.

5. Barrier Floor

The barrier floor deals damage over time to players standing on it. Roto Shield nullifies this completely. Without the shield, move off the floor quickly and rely on your healer to recover the chip damage.

6. Charm Attack

The boss releases purple smoke that charms players for roughly 5 seconds, disabling actions. Ryuuou gear provides charm resistance. If your team lacks resistance, spread out so a single charm does not disable multiple players at once.

Rewards

The Ryuuou Army Memory is the standout reward for endgame accounts. Exact ticket and material counts come from fixed event milestone tracks. Check the live reward screen in your client for any difficulty-specific extras.
