Quick Answer
Window status: the autumn training campaign closed on September 29, 2026 11:59 JST, so the Skarugon strong enemy match and its Memory are no longer farmable unless the campaign returns. This page stays up as a record of the run and as preparation for a rerun. The Skarugon Army multi quest ran from September 15, 2026 through the same September 29 closing date.
Use the current event checklist for today’s action order, the current banner guide if you are deciding whether to pull a fire weapon, and this page when the question is how to clear Skarugon and whether the Memory is worth repeating.

How to Unlock the Match
Skarugon was added on September 8, 2026 with the start of the autumn training campaign. The match is opened with the campaign entry challenge that you collect by clearing main story and campaign quests during the window, so push the campaign quests first if the Skarugon tile is still locked.
If your client uses a different English name for the boss, follow the name shown on the stage screen.
| Check | What to do |
|---|---|
| Campaign quests | Clear autumn campaign and main story quests to earn the match entry item |
| Match tile | Confirm Skarugon appears in the strong enemy match list |
| Entry item | Check the item count before starting a repeat farm |
| Timer | Confirm the live end time before a last-day push |
Weaknesses and Difficulty
Skarugon is a zombie-family boss. Fire is the super weakness and wind is a normal weakness, so a fire carry is the fastest clear and a wind weapon is a fine fallback when your fire weapon is needed somewhere else.
| Element | Usefulness |
|---|---|
| Fire | Super weakness; lead with fire weapons |
| Wind | Weakness; good second option for ball-skill and wind builds |
| Other elements | No confirmed advantage, so avoid building around them |
Recommended level guidance from published coverage:
| Difficulty | Recommended level |
|---|---|
| Easy | Base class Lv. 15 / advanced class Lv. 1 |
| Normal | Base class Lv. 30 / advanced class Lv. 10 |
| Hard | Base class Lv. 40 / advanced class Lv. 20 |
| Super Hard | Base class Lv. 50 / advanced class Lv. 30 |
| Challenge | Advanced class Lv. 40 |
Treat those numbers as a starting point. If your clears are slow or unsafe, upgrade the team before adding repeats.
Missions and Special Rules
The match uses the standard mission set for this content type.
| Condition | What to do |
|---|---|
| Clear at A rank | Finish the fight with a stable score, even if the clear is slow |
| Clear at S rank | Push clear speed with a fire carry and clean dodging |
| Clear without dying | Keep the team out of avoidable breath and spell hits |
Check the live reward screen in your client for the exact mission list and reward values before farming.
Recommended Builds
Fire first, wind second. The build advice below uses the elements the boss is confirmed weak to, plus the weapons that published clear routes lean on.
| Weapon | Element | Why it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Haja no Tsurugi (はじゃのつるぎ) | Fire | Best-fit fire sword for this fight, with bonus damage against the zombie family |
| Ryuuou Staff | Fire | Top-class fire option with a high-damage special; strong on a Sage slot |
| Dragon Killer | Fire | Top-class fire option that also works well as a sub weapon |
| Flame Sword | Fire | Strong fire main weapon with useful adventure skill damage |
| Falcon Blade | Wind | Covers the wind weakness and brings heavy special damage |
| Sea Storm Staff | Wind | Wind spell option for a magic slot when ball-type skills are set up |
A low-cost route also works: Falcon Blade on the main slot, Crystal Claw on a Mage slot, and Wind Boomerang on a Thief slot covers the wind weakness and steady adventure skill damage without requiring a banner weapon.
Party and Vocation
Published clear advice favors a Paladin main slot with a fire weapon, a Sage sub slot with a fire staff, and a Ranger sub slot with a fire claw. If you do not own the headline fire sword, keep the same shape and swap in your strongest fire or wind weapon instead.
Strategy Points
1. Lead With Fire, Then Wind
Fire is the super weakness, so the fight gets much shorter with a fire weapon on the main damage slot. Bring wind coverage only when your fire carry is committed elsewhere or when a wind ball-skill build is simply stronger on your account.
2. Stay Close to the Boss
Skarugon attacks mostly at range, and its attacks are easier to dodge when you stay close. Keep pressure on from close range instead of drifting to the edge of the arena.
3. Circle the Breath Attacks
The close-range breath can be avoided by moving around the boss rather than backing away from it, because the dodge distance grows as you move further out. Circle inside instead of running straight back.
4. Step Out Only for the Wide-Range Attack
When the boss winds up the wide-range attack, move away and then return. Watch the ground while you reposition: standing in the ice spell effect applies a slow that makes the next dodge much harder.
5. Sweep the Heavy Adds and Escape With Your Special
Use your special when a heavy minion is walking into your melee range so it does not push you into a bad position. The same special is a reliable answer to the fast close-range attack, which has almost no wind-up and is hard to dodge on reaction.
Rewards and the Skarugon Memory
Skarugon Memory is the limited Memory tied to this match. It is a green Memory that increases fire physical damage by 10% for Paladin holders, with a defensive stat line led by high HP and spell defense.
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Color / slot fit | Green |
| Main effect | Paladin fire physical damage +10% |
| Acquisition | Skarugon strong enemy match clear reward |
| Window | Live with the autumn campaign through about September 29, 2026 11:59 JST |
Clears also feed the campaign medal track and the event exchange. Check the Memory tier list for ranking context and the Memory page for the full stat line before committing upgrade materials.
The same campaign window also adds a Skarugon Army defense multi quest. Check the multi quest list in your client for its live start, and run it while the multi point track is open if you want the extra campaign rewards.
Stop Lines
| Stop when | Why |
|---|---|
| Campaign quests, dailies, or free tickets are unfinished | Those are safer limited value |
| Clears are slow or unsafe | Upgrade the team before forcing the mission list |
| You already secured the Memory quality you need | Extra repeats have diminishing return |
| Your account cannot use a Paladin fire physical Memory | The medals and other campaign rewards are the better reason to keep playing the match |

FAQ
Can I clear Skarugon with a wind build instead of fire?
Yes. Wind hits a real weakness, so a wind weapon or a wind ball-skill build is a workable path. Fire is simply the faster route because it hits the super weakness.
Should I pull a fire weapon just for Skarugon?
Only if you also need fire coverage for the rest of your account. Use the banner guide for the role-gap decision instead of pulling for a single limited match.
Where should I confirm the missions and rewards?
Use the live stage screen and reward screen in your client before repeating the fight. This page keeps the weakness, build, and farm decision clear without listing every unconfirmed reward value.
